THE CRAFT CONFERENCE OF THE YEAR
Take the opportunity to network, and attend interesting lectures and panel discussions. On 4 October 2023, an international one-day conference focusing on contemporary crafts will be held in the capital of Sweden. Curating Craft kicks off the five-year anniversary of Stockholm Craft Week, and among the participants are representatives from the Nordic countries and the USA.
Available now – tickets for Curating Craft, an international one-day conference bringing together craft artists and aiming at strengthening the field of curating contemporary crafts. The conference opens this year’s Stockholm Craft Week and is organized by The Swedish Crafts Centre (Konsthantverkscentrum) in collaboration with NNCA – Nordic Network of Crafts Associations. Curating Craft on 4 October 2023 at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, in Stockholm, and the panelists include renowned representatives from the Nordic countries and the USA. If you are a practitioner, student or otherwise active in the field, you can already secure a place at Curating Craft. The ticket costs 280 SEK and includes vegan lunch and refreshments. Your ticket also serves as an invitation to the opening of Stockholm Craft Week, which celebrates its fifth anniversary and will be inaugurated by the Swedish Minister of Culture. Last day for ticket purchases is 15 September.
