The NNCA's activities promotes and mediates Nordic contemporary crafts in the Nordic region and beyond. The NNCA has produced exhibitions and seminars and provided input on political, social and economic issues relating to craft artists and the fields of contemporary craft in the Nordic region.
The NNCA has proposed the creation of a new Nordic Council Craft Prize.
Over 250 people attended the international one-day conference Curating Craft in Stockholm on 4 October 2023.
